Engagement Session in Coronado

July 1, 2007 - (my wedding anniversary!) Libna and Jason chose Coronado for their e-session, and what a great shoot it turned out to be! We met by the Corondo Brewing Company and ended up by the Hotel Del. We found a live sand dollar, and they told me that they found one on the day they were engaged too! It was a perfect day and they were both so much fun to work with! I can't wait to see them on their wedding day!

Bliss Events

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Jenny Bauman and Rachel Burger of Bliss Events. These ladies were so much fun! We walked around Little Italy and took advantage of the beautiful San Diego spring weather and natural backgrounds. Then we enjoyed a fabulous dinner and bottle of wine at The Indigo Grill. I just returned from the Digital Wedding Forum/WPPI convention in Las Vegas. What a great time! This was my second year to attend the largest wedding photography convention in the world. Once again I gained a wealth of infomation from the seminars and got to see all of the latest and greatest at the trade show. Most of all, I made new friends, met up with old friends, and was reminded of what a great community of photograpers I belong to!

Wedding at the Frank Sinatra Estate

What a blast it was to photograph the wedding of Jamie and Journey Brennan at Frank Sinatra's old Twin Palms estate in Palm Springs. The site was overflowing with a retro vibe. The piano shaped pool in the back yard provided the perfect backdrop for this classy affair. Rumor has it that Frank would hoist a Jack Daniels flag to the top of one of the palms to let the neighborhood know that it was time for cocktails. You could just imagine Frank and his Rat Pack friends living it up under the stars. Jamie was absolutely stunning and Journey was the perfect combination of style and class.
